Hello! I am currently on the 507 Farewell tour on Merseyrail heading to Southport as I type this! I’m on 507001 in Coach C, there is also 507023 on the rear! I have to say that I am rather enjoying my self I’ve taken a few photos which I will share within this blog.

507001 Has completed 3,615,818 Miles which is crazy to think about. I’ve barely been on it when you think about it, the unit is 47 Years old as of 1st November 2024! The unit is also being preserved as well by the fiends of 507 Group! I’m going to miss these well loved units once they finally bow out of service.

I will be uploading a video over on my TikTok later this week. The idea behind this site is to write about my adventures as well as film and document it through photos and video. The 507s have been part of my life for many years since I was little. I used to travel to school & college on these units as well as the 508s which have now gone.

The inside of the Units has changed quite a lot over the years. From its original design of 3/2 seating to the standard 2/2 seating. At the time of writing I’m now arriving into Southport where the train will rest for about an hour and a half. I’ll be having my lunch as well here too!

I’ve a lot of great memories from these class 507s, from visiting every single station on the Merseyrail Network to meeting famous YouTubers, creating my own content for YouTube / TikTok! They’ve helped me build up a reputation on Merseyrail and I’m also fairly well known too.

Farewell Class 507 & Thank You

It will be a sad time to say farewell to these units as they’ve been part of my life for such a long time. But we look to the future with the class 777s! Despite there issues software updates and door problems they’re here to stay! 507001 has serviced the network since 1st November 1978!

Farewell Class 507

Thank you class 507 for everything, for all the fun and travels you’ve given me over the last 20 odd years of my adult life and my later teenager years traveling to school, getting independent and stuff like that. This blog was written onboard 507001!
