Welcome back to my Blog! I’ll be introducing more adventures on buses and coaches from around the UK, England Scotland & Wales sharing the journey, the adventure & enjoyment that I have riding the UKs best & most scenic bus route’s I Can find. I also plan to do a review of various bus routes from services to the City Centre like, Liverpool, Preston, Blackpool, Warrington & Much more.

In this first post I want to talk about the various locations I plan to be visiting as well as various bus route’s I plan to review from services like the X2 between Liverpool, Southport & Preston. I also plan to review the X1/1 from Liverpool City Centre to Chester via Chester Zoo & Chester Railway Station. The aim is to give greater detail of what each bus route has to offer.

My main bus route to Liverpool is the 432/433 between New Brighton and Liverpool Cook Street via Liscard, Poulton & Wallasey Tunnels. The route’s offer a rather frequent service starting at New Brighton every 10 minutes however both routes diverge around Rowsan Street. The 432 route continues towards Magazine lane heading for Mount Pleasant, continuing on towards Seaview Road & Asda before meeting up with the 433 in Liscard.

There are various other route’s similar to this such as the 471/472 Which have a similar diagram with them both being operated by Stagecoach & Arriva in Merseyside, powered by Mersey Travel this means people can use either service with one ticket but on either operator. The 472 heads to Birkenhead then onward towards Arrowe Park then diverging off towards Pensby, eventually making its way to Heswall.

However the 471 does a fairly different route also heads to Birkenhead, Arrowe Park however it continues towards Irby and goes a a slightly more direct route towards Heswall. I haven’t ridden on this route for a while so I do plan to do a full length detailed route review of both the 471/472 Services using both operators! I don’t get to use Stagecoach very often due to being located in wallasey as we solely have Arriva operating in the area.

Another thing I would like to write about will be to feature New Buses, new Bus Route’s and many more up and coming changes to the public bus ownership taking place in many cities like in Greater Manchester, Merseyside with Transport for the Liverpool City Region & So much more. Reporting on various events like the Birmingham Bus Expo which takes place in the early Autumn!

I also want to report on various different airport bus services like the 500, 86A which head towards John Lennon Airport in Liverpool. I want to compare that to other Airport routes like ones to Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow Airport & even Heathrow as well. The aim is to provide you with the best ways to be able to get to and from the Airport by bus only.

I also want to focus on long distance bus routes like the X2 between Liverpool, Southport & Preston which takes over 2hrs to get to Preston with the operator Stagecoach Merseyside Cheshire & South Lancashire. As well as general bus services I would like to provide reviews on the quality of Bus this could be traveling with National Express, Flix Bus & Many other operators that provide long distance Coach journeys to various Cities like, Newcastle, Manchester & Leeds.

Thanks for taking the time to read and I do hope that you will Subscribe & Follow the blog as I plan to update this around once a week. Let me know what you think of the Photograph’s. See you in my first Blog Post where I will just be out & about in Merseyside riding various different bus route’s.
