Hello and welcome back to my blog. Unfortunately, since I attempted to upload again on YouTube, it seems there is a group of people who do not want me on that platform. It’s disheartening to say that I am not welcome due to a series of events that occurred towards the end of 2020. However, I am committed to rebuilding this blog over the next few months, extending through late 2026 and into early 2027. My goal is to grow my subscribers and audience, and to genuinely rediscover the joy of writing and sharing about my travels and hobbies, which I love so much.

I wanted to update you on my challenge to visit every single railway station in the United Kingdom. It’s proving quite difficult, so I’ve decided to terminate the challenge and focus on a more manageable task: visiting stations operated and served by Northern Trains. This was originally my intention, but due to cost and affordability, I never managed to complete it. The aim is to get on and off at every single Northern Trains railway station, just as I planned for the larger challenge, but this time focusing on the smaller, more remote stations, which number over 500.

Lea Green Railway Station
Class 769484 at Hoscar Railway Station

The goal is to simply get on or off at all the stations served by Northern Trains, such as Lea Green. The stations between Liverpool Lime Street, Newton-le-Willows, Hough Green, and Garswood are operated by Northern but are clearly managed by Merseyrail/MerseyTravel on behalf of Northern, and these count as part of the challenge. Additionally, I plan to explore more bus stations, routes, and hubs for this blog. If you haven’t already checked out my latest post where I visited the Trafford Centre and Eccles Bus Stations/Interchange, please consider doing so. I also lost around nine subscribers from the blog, going from 24 to 16, but now I have 19 subscribers again. Let’s hope we can grow that number further.

SM63 MZK – 38 New Ferry

In addition to riding trains and visiting stations, I also enjoy exploring various bus stations across the country. I’ve been to Glasgow, Middlesbrough, London, Wales, and, of course, Liverpool too! I plan to visit as many as possible to compile an extensive list. I’ve covered all the bus stations in the Merseyside region, including Bootle, Queen Square, Heswall, Birkenhead, and more. From Stagecoach, Arriva, and First Bus to even Cardiff buses, I’ve seen them all! If you’d like a broader view on bus routes, reviews, and more, please let me know, as I would love to hear your suggestions for my blog.

If you’re interested in following my journey and reading about my adventures, I would greatly appreciate your support by subscribing to the blog. I plan to post every other day, covering topics such as station visits, bus stations, route reviews, and more. One of my upcoming reviews will be of the 38 route from Eastham Ferry to West Kirby via Birkenhead and Moreton. My goal is to ride the entire route, document various points along the way, and share my thoughts.

I also plan to focus on smaller operators like the one at Birkenhead Bus Station, which is operated by A2B Travel on the Wirral. They run around Heswall, Pensby, Irby, and various other locations in that part of the Wirral. A2B Travel operates several routes on behalf of MerseyTravel, including the 181, 175, 106/107, and even the 1a, b, and c services around Moreton. If you would be interested in a detailed blog post about those routes, let me know. I could also do one on HTL Buses and Happy ALS! Please let me know.

Lytham Railway Station – Class 156460 (Blackpool South)

The new series will focus on visiting every station on the Northern Railways map. The initial posts will cover the following routes: Liverpool to Manchester Airport, Southport to Wigan, Bolton & Stalybridge, Headbolt Lane to Wigan Wallgate, and Manchester Victoria to Blackburn. Initially, I will concentrate on many stations in the Northwest of England, including Lancaster, Windermere, Barrow in Furness, and stations along the Cumbrian coast that I have yet to visit. I hope you will join me on this journey and support me on my blog.

With that said, I hope you will enjoy the new series as much as I will enjoy sharing and documenting it through photos, writing, and my views here on my blog. Starting this week, I will be visiting stations between Southport and Wigan Wallgate, then onward to Bolton, Manchester, and Stalybridge. Please consider subscribing to my blog so you’re always notified when I upload. I am also planning to visit many more bus stations and interchanges around Manchester! So, watch this space. Oh, one more thing, I am also going to continue my Metrolink challenge to visit all the stops on the Metrolink in Manchester.
